💙 Proud to present at UB's 2025 Celebration of Student Academic Excellence!
Had the opportunity to present my project to audience from different background with students, faculty, and professionals. Events like these remind me how powerful it is to communicate science with clarity and curiosity.
⚡Wrapping up months of research into a two-minute talk! 🎤
I stepped up to the challenge at the Annual SEAS Lightning Talk Competition, an intense research sprint where PhD students (and one MS student…yep, that was me! 😌) had just 120 seconds to pitch their indepth research to a panel of judges.

✨ Presented for the third time at CSE Demo Day, Fall 24! 🚘
The idea behind our work "Adaptive Driver Assistance: Context-Based Approach to Pedestrian Safety," is to not just detect pedestrians but also to analyze their behavior while also considering external conditions which we call as context. we cannot have different models for each of the task. Instead, we applied something called parameter-efficient fine-tuning techniques on a single Vision Transformer model.

🌟 Represented the CS Department at the STEM Research Opportunity Fair!
A special thank you to Professor Shamsad Parvin, PhD for the opportunity to showcase our work in Deep Learning and Computer Vision. I shared insights from our ongoing research projects including Revelio and Pedestrian project.
⚡Another CSE Demo Day but this time with 2️⃣ projects!
First was research oriented, Mapping Crime Dynamics and the second was related to Object Detection+Text Generation, project FEAST for recipe generation from just a snap of your ingredients! Checkout more on these in my projects.
Presenting two different objectives taught me a key lesson: understanding my audience, aligning with evaluation metrics, and telling a compelling story around my work is crucial.
